Schoelkopf Gallery is the exclusive worldwide representative of the Max Weber Foundation.

Max Weber first began experimenting with lithography in 1916. Chinese Lion provides an example of "offset" lithography, which involves printing the image onto an intermediate surface and then the final sheet, thus preserving the quality and integrity of the plate.
