Still Life (c. 1917) serves as a prime example of Max Weber’s distinctive Cubist style. In the early decades of the twentieth century, Weber transformed what had previously been regarded as a style unique to Europe’s avant-garde into an art form reflective of America’s growing cultural prominence on the world stage.
